Navvia has released new features and content to help improve the usability and functionality of the Navvia Process Designer.   These include new document sharing capabilities, improvements to the user interface, a new support portal, new process templates and enhancements to the live and recorded training courses.  

Document Sharing

Document sharing allows you to create a URL for a process that can be shared with anybody, even individuals without a Navvia user ID.  Clicking on the URL causes the most current version of the document to be rendered in a browser as a PDF file.  The PDF can then be downloaded onto a desktop from the browser. 

These URLs can be placed in an email, on a website, in SharePoint, or any other knowledge repository.  For added security we support expiry dates and passwords for the links.

It's important to note that there is no need to change the URL when the process is updated.  Clicking on the URL causes the most current version of the process to load.   

Pan & Zoom

This feature provides a simple way to zoom into a diagram while still seeing an overview of the entire activity. 

Task Type

This feature allows you to change any task on a diagram to one of the BPMN 2.0 task types including; Business Rule, Manual Task, Receive Task, Send Task, Script Task, Service Task and User Task.

New Support Tool

Click on the "Need Help" button to access the new integrated support portal.  Here you can create and browse tickets, search the knowledge base, view system status and even initiate a live support chat - all without leaving the Navvia application.

ServiceNow® Process Templates

We are pleased to announce that we have added Istanbul to our library of ServiceNow® aligned process templates.  There are 13 Istanbul templates in total including all your favorites like Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management and more...

New Training Courses

We have added new virtual instructor-led courses to the Navvia Learn module.  These include:

• ITSM Overview
• Effective Process Design
• IT Governance Overview
• The Service Management Office
• Conducting a Process Maturity Assessment

We have also created an improved recorded version of the Navvia Process Designer training.  This course is broken down into bite-sized videos and is assessable directly from the "Need Help" button in Navvia.  Coming soon are recorded versions of Survey Module and Administration.
